Before these two, we were pregnant and miscarried because of fibroids. I had them removed prior to conceiving again and had two complication free pregnancies after.
Did you go into labor naturally or were you induced?
I went into labor the exact day I was scheduled for a c-section with our first. The second I went in for the scheduled c-section, so no labor.
How long were you in labor?
About 6 hours.
Did you get an epidural or go all natural?
Epidural – no choice since I had c-sections.
What was the best and worst part about labor and delivery?
Best- knowing what to expect. Worst- the c-section lasted quite a bit longer than expected because of scar tissue and I felt as if I could not breathe during the entire surgery because the baby was pushing on my lungs.
Were there any complications with your delivery?
Other than it taking longer, no.

You can’t control everything. Do what is best for you and your family and not what is best for everyone else. And the sleep deprivation won’t last forever so try to enjoy that baby!
Is there anything else you’d like to share about your journey to motherhood?
Pregnancy after miscarriage is a scary thing because you are constantly in fear of the same thing happening again. Try your best to trust your body and enjoy the pregnancy.
